About Wolf Source

A unique informational resource online, Wolf Source is the most diverse web site of wolf information on the Internet. Wolf Source is dedicated to the wolf and the friends of the elusive wild creature. We believe that you can never have too many friends and with the fight for the survival of the wolf becoming more and more heated now is the time that the friends of this wonderful animal need to stand up and honor the spirit of the wolf. Many cultures believe that the wolf is a symbol of strength, courage, and love. We believe that is true. There is no animal more loyal and loving towards it’s family, not even man. Some see the wolf as a vicious killer, they are blinded by ignorance and fairy tales. The fact stands the there has NEVER been a healthy, unprovoked wolf in North America attack a human.

The more we learn about the wolf the better their chance for survival. If we lose the wolf, if we allow the wolf to become extinct, we will lose the most precious gift of all – compassion for other creatures on this planet. I am not prepared for that. Are you? If you would like to show your support for the wolf then feel free to get a button from the graphics page and link back here to display on your home page to show that you care about what happens to your planet and to the creatures that reside on it. Thank you for visiting my page and I hope that you have a wonderful adventure.

It is our goal to make readily available the information and resources needed to learn about these wild creatures and their plight.

Meet the Webmistress

Lehnanne G. Kidd has held an lifelong obsession fascination with wolves and other animals. All of her life she has been surrounded by animals of all shapes, sizes and species. When Lehnanne was 10 years old she “ran-away” to work on a horse farm. She packed a small suit case with sandwiches and her special toy panther and headed out the door. Luckily the horse farm was across the street from her house – so after a day of adventure (the owner put her to work for the whole day) she ended up home in her own bed.

Lehnanne is also interested in technology and the internet. She is a self-taught web designer and has created several sites over the years. She spends her off-line time volunteering, working with animals and hanging out with her husband. Lehnanne has Fibromyalgia and moves a little slower these days but she still spends as much time as she can working with animals. She lives full time in a 40 foot four season fifth wheel, and home is run for and by her 2 rescued dogs.
